Position Overview

Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Paterson, New Jersey. This full-time role focuses on providing exceptional care within an orthopedic outpatient practice. You will play an integral role in assisting patients to achieve their personal best in mobility and function, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.

We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our clients receive expert treatment tailored to their unique needs.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, facilitating hands-on care in a well-equipped home care setting if required. You will work directly within a collaborative environment alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), fostering teamwork and effective patient communication. Our regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and objectives of patients in a healthcare setting.
• Manage and treat a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring quality interactions and personalized attention.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques, including evidence-based practices.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at improving mobility and reducing the reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Educate and empower patients by creating tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to their individual rehabilitation goals.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapy sessions, promoting a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Continuously monitor progress, assess treatment effects, and maintain open communication with patients regarding their rehabilitation journey.
• Thoroughly document patient care and services delivered to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and multidisciplinary approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, utilizing both manual therapy techniques and functional exercise regimens to restore movement and enhance quality of life. Our patients are often recovering from injuries or surgeries and are motivated to engage in their healing process actively. Understanding their needs and providing customized care plans is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures taken against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise regimens tailored to patient requirements.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in an orthopedic outpatient practice setting.
• Previous involvement in developing holistic and individualized patient care strategies.
• Strong background in motivational techniques and patient engagement methods.

Compensation and Benefits

Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
