Work Environment

The physical therapy team at Kinetic Care Center operates in a collegial and collaborative environment. As a team member, you will enjoy a work schedule of Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while contributing significantly to patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your work will encompass a variety of critical tasks, including:

• Delivering high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy by managing the entire therapeutic process for an assigned caseload in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments and actively participating in the development as well as the implementation of individualized care plans aimed at achieving specific patient goals.
• Providing direct therapeutic interventions and navigating the entirety of the patient's healthcare journey.
• Administering evaluations and treatment strategies that align with ethical practice standards and legal frameworks.
• Assisting in assessing and evaluating the therapeutic and functional status of patients while contributing to the total plan of care.
• Delivering purposeful and skilled care in various settings, including patients' homes, ensuring adherence to the physician's prescribed care plan.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and the use of any prescribed devices outside of therapy sessions.
• Effectively managing your caseload, determining daily staffing needs, and coordinating patient care assignments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse patient population, including adults and children undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to foster meaningful recovery experiences for patients with varying health backgrounds and needs, ensuring that each individual receives customized and effective care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, the following qualifications are required:

• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required within 30 days of the employment start date.

Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is specifically required for this role, one year of clinical practice is preferred to help facilitate quality patient care and enable smoother integration into our team.
