Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and mobility issues.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, utilizing the latest rehabilitation techniques.
• Engage in hands-on therapy sessions to help patients achieve their therapeutic goals, employing modalities such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education.
• Maintain detailed documentation of each patient's progress and adapt treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver holistic care.
• Provide ongoing education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through improved function and mobility.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in New York State.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, specifically within an outpatient physical therapy setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation center focusing on outpatient care.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and technologies, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and active rehabilitation exercises.
• Proven ability to effectively educate patients about their conditions and treatment options.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation ranging between $100,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
