Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Henderson, Nevada, our outpatient clinic offers a stimulating work environment, fully equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation tools and technology. A typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced approach to both work and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments to determine the best treatment plans for each patient.
• Implement manual therapy techniques and design progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer advanced return-to-play testing and sport-specific training to facilitate athletes' optimal recovery.
• Collaborate closely with athletic trainers, orthopedic specialists, and performance professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, recovery methods, and long-term mobility practices to enhance performance and minimize future injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of patients, including adolescents, collegiate athletes, and seasoned professionals. Each patient may present with unique demands and challenges arising from various sports disciplines. Your focus will be on not just treating injuries but fostering an environment where athletes can thrive and excel.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution, with licensure or eligibility for licensure in Nevada.
• Strong background and enthusiasm for sports medicine, biomechanics, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional performance training.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong athlete-first mindset to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Comfortable operating in both rehabilitation settings and return-to-sport environments.

Preferred Experience

• Certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is highly desirable.
• A background in athletic training or experience with collegiate/professional sports rehabilitation is advantageous.
• Experience utilizing advanced rehabilitation techniques, such as blood flow restriction training, dry needling, and sport-tech tools like force plates and motion capture systems.
