Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to work directly within patients' homes, which fosters a comfortable and supportive environment for rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients' physical function, strength, and mobility through thorough assessments to identify specific needs.
• Employ advanced diagnostic techniques and tools to inform treatment decisions tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy programs focused on restoring function, enhancing mobility, and alleviating pain.
• Utilize physical therapy modalities, including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercises, and other innovative therapeutic techniques.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and custom home exercise programs to ensure ongoing care and improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, case managers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and multidisciplinary treatment approach.
• Maintain clear and open communication with patients and caregivers to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-surgical recovery clients to individuals facing chronic pain and mobility challenges. The aim is to deliver tailored rehabilitation interventions that meet the unique needs of each patient while fostering an environment of encouragement and support.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy License to practice in the state of Nevada.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
• Ability to develop coherent and individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and patient feedback.
• A passion for helping patients achieve significant recovery outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• A capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting to changing situations rapidly.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with preference given to candidates who have worked in an Orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with home care practices and mobility-focused rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
