Work Environment

This position is an onsite role, where you will travel to patients' homes across Boulder City and its surrounding areas to deliver care. The home care environment allows you to create a personal connection with patients, assess their living conditions, and tailor rehabilitation strategies that fit their specific needs and lifestyles. You will typically work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical functions, strengths, and mobility through in-depth evaluations.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques to identify specific treatment needs for each patient.
• Design and implement individualized therapy programs to restore function, relieve pain, and enhance mobility.
• Incorporate a broad spectrum of therapeutic methods, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and specialized modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Educate patients and their families on effective injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and at-home exercise regimens to promote ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and progress to support effective treatment planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. The patient population varies in age, from adolescents to seniors, each presenting unique challenges and requirements in their recovery. Your ability to respond to the emotional and physical needs of each patient will be pertinent in their rehabilitation success.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in orthopedic and sports medicine settings is vital for this role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective patient interactions.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping individuals achieve meaningful recovery.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with a background in home health or community-based rehabilitation will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
