Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work onsite with a diverse patient population. The clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work schedule. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and therapeutic modalities to support treatment plans effectively. You will be working with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals committed to enhancing mobility and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on orthopedic rehabilitation and recovery.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercise regimens to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individual responses.
• Educate patients and their families on self-care strategies, injury prevention techniques, and at-home exercises to enhance recovery.
• Foster a positive clinical atmosphere that encourages growth, collaboration, and excellence in care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthodontic practice caters to various individuals recovering from surgeries, traumatic injuries, or chronic orthopedic conditions. You will engage with patients of all ages, tailoring your approach to address the unique needs and rehabilitation goals of each individual. The emphasis on personalized care ensures that every patient receives the support and guidance necessary to regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a Doctorate or Master's preferred.
• Current or eligible Physical Therapy license valid in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated interest or background in orthopedic and/or sports rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills crucial for effective patient interaction and treatment.
• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is preferred; candidates should be interested in pursuing this certification.
• Prior experience with manual therapy techniques or dry needling is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and designing individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care.
