The Royal Heights Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, Nevada, is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Sports Rehabilitation Specialist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

Located in beautiful Henderson, Nevada, our rehabilitation center offers an inviting and collaborative atmosphere. As part of our sports rehab team, you will be equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technologies, including force plates, motion capture systems, blood flow restriction (BFR) devices, and Normatec recovery systems. Our multidisciplinary approach encourages professionals from diverse backgrounds—strength coaches, athletic trainers, and sports medicine doctors—to work together to deliver cohesive and comprehensive care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, sport-specific evaluations followed by biomechanical assessments to tailor rehabilitation strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs that specifically target athletes' return-to-sport readiness.
• Employ evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular reeducation, plyometric training, and use of BFR technologies.
• Communicate and collaborate with coaches, orthopedic physicians, and performance specialists to ensure integrated treatment plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy techniques and exercise plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises and techniques to promote self-management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of athletes who are actively seeking rehabilitation services due to sports-related injuries or those looking to enhance their performance levels. You will work closely with patients of various ages and sports backgrounds, catering to their unique rehabilitation needs while fostering a supportive environment that encourages recovery and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapist license in Nevada.
• A demonstrated passion for sports rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing ongoing education in this specialty.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with athletes, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of experience in a physical therapy setting focused on sports injuries.
• Certifications such as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Sports Certified Specialist (SCS) are highly desirable.
• Background in strength and conditioning or athletic training, as well as experience working directly with athletes.
