What You'll Do

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from infants to end of life
• Manage patients with a wide range of acuity levels, including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and medical cases
• Utilize critical care skills such as ventilator management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document care in Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with hospital staff, including physicians, charge nurses, RTs, and support teams
• Support multidisciplinary procedures such as TPA administration, conscious sedation, and stroke management
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during high-pressure situations

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or ability to obtain
• Minimum of 2 years of ER/ED experience, including trauma and critical care
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to handle high-acuity patients
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts, weekend rotations, and holidays
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
