International Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary A growing organization in Mercer County, NJ is seeking an experienced International Logistics Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional with a strong background in international shipping, import/export documentation, customs coordination, and freight management. The International Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in keeping global shipments moving accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with import/export requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate international shipments from origin through final delivery, including ocean and air freight. Work with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to support timely delivery. Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and Dangerous Goods Declaration paperwork. Track shipment status, resolve delays, communicate updates, and maintain accurate logistics records. Support customs clearance, FDA import compliance, inventory receipts, and outbound delivery coordination. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience. Required Qualifications and Skills Coordinate international freight shipments, including ocean and air transportation. Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance support, and shipment tracking. Partner with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and warehouses. Support FDA compliance, inventory receipts, and outbound logistics coordination. 3+ years of international logistics, import/export, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination experience. Experience with customs clearance procedures and import documentation. Knowledge of FDA import requirements. Experience handling Dangerous Goods Declaration documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365, including Excel. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external logistics partners. Preferred Qualifications NetSuite experience is a plus. Experience in a fast-paced international shipping or supply chain environment. Familiarity with coordinating both inbound inventory receipts and outbound deliveries.
