We are seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to support a large commercial and hospital facility. If you have hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a stable and rewarding environment.
What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete timely repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
• Complete general building maintenance, including painting and minor carpentry work.
• Follow OSHA and facility safety standards at all times.
• Respond to maintenance requests and support daily facility operations.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in building, facility, commercial, or hospital maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull tools, equipment, and materials.
• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, at heights, and in mechanical rooms or confined spaces.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
