DC Power Installer

Client Overview Client is a national battery provider that offers DC power infrastructure and batteries to major telco carriers and data centers. They work with companies such as Brightspeed, Frontier, AT&T, Microsoft, and others. The role is for installation technicians with a background in primary power and DC battery installation as well as testing and turn‑up experience. This is a traveling position; the client will cover hotel and meal costs while on assignment. Candidates can expense mileage on their own vehicle and will be paid to travel into and back from markets. The primary geographic location is the upper Midwest (MN, WI, IL, IN, MI, OH). Key Responsibilities Install DC battery systems and related components. Perform cabling and commissioning work as required. Conduct testing and turn‑up activities. Desired Skills and Qualifications Experience in primary power and DC battery installation. Experience with battery vendors such as Emerson, Eltek Energy, Marconi, Alpine Power, and others. Hands‑on knowledge from carriers’ systems. Experience and Job Details Experience Level: Expert Job Type: Contract Location: Columbus, OH (fully onsite); primary traveling region is the Upper Midwest. Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour.
