What You Will Do We are looking for a temp to hire Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team in our Atlanta office. The Accounting Clerk will report to the Accounting Manager and play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the accounting department. This position provides administrative and accounting support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and month-end close activities. We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the Accounting team through accurate recordkeeping, filing, and document management. Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and maintain vendor records. Receive and apply client payments while assisting with account reconciliations and collections. Support project billing by preparing invoices and organizing required documentation. Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and expense report processing. Maintain electronic accounting files and documentation for audits and company records. Respond to vendor and client inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Assist with special projects, cross-train with team members, and provide backup support as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred. One to three years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP or accounting software is preferred (Acumatica is a plus) Skills and Competencies Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Customer-service mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
