Accounting Clerk

We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Accountants to join our clients across Atlanta. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial records, executing month-end closing procedures, and ensuring robust GAAP compliance. The ideal candidate brings a grasp of general ledger accounting, ERP software experience, payroll, and a proactive mindset toward optimizing financial processes.

salary: $45,000 - $75,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Financial Records: Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

• AP & AR: Process vendor invoices, manage client billing, and resolve payment discrepancies.

• Reconciliations: Verify bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheets for accuracy.

• Month-End Close: Execute closing procedures and prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).

• Tax & Audit: Support local/state tax compliance (including Georgia regulations) and assist with audit preparation.

• Budget Analysis: Track spending and provide variance reports to management.
