Accounting Clerk

Candidates, please note: We are pipelining candidates for future openings in Northwest Atlanta (Smyrna, Austell, Mableton, Lithia Springs, and South Fulton). We do not have an immediate opening at this time, but are preparing for new positions. We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical Accountants to join our clients across Atlanta. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of financial records, executing month-end closing procedures, and ensuring robust GAAP compliance. The ideal candidate brings a grasp of general ledger accounting, ERP software experience, payroll, and a proactive mindset toward optimizing financial processes.

salary: $45,000 - $75,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Financial Records: Maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

• AP & AR: Process vendor invoices, manage client billing, and resolve payment discrepancies.

• Reconciliations: Verify bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheets for accuracy.

• Month-End Close: Execute closing procedures and prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).

• Tax & Audit: Support local/state tax compliance (including Georgia regulations) and assist with audit preparation.

• Budget Analysis: Track spending and provide variance reports to management.
