Career Coach And Guide

Serves as a career coach and guide for employees seeking career counseling and skills upgrading/enhancement. Arranges and/or administers assessments through a Health System career assessment center. Provides follow-up counseling to employees, which will enable them to receive the job advancement training required to earn a promotion or transition to other viable positions within the organization. Provides job retention services, facilitates information exchange and acts as a liaison between hospital departments and program administrators. Coordinates skills upgrading and occupational training/education with the Health System's Skills Enhancement Program, community training programs and post-secondary institutions. Performs case management and data management duties to record and monitor participants' progress through the program; composes and generates complex reports and correspondence.

Education: Master's preferred or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's required.

Work Experience: A minimum of two years of professional career counseling, case management, and outcome reporting experience is required; marketing and/or educational instruction experience is beneficial.

Salary Range: $26.51/hour - $43.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
