Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 26-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a primarily Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capability
• Manage blood product administration, peripheral line care, and IV insertion
• Administer and monitor Heparin, Insulin, and PCA therapy
• Apply isolation precautions and utilize nasal cannula oxygen delivery as indicated
• Participate in Rapid Response Team activations as needed
• Serve as Charge RN as needed; float to other campus locations within the health system as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must successfully pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background cases permitted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
• This position requires a 26-week commitment — 13-week contracts are not available

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with Charge RN responsibilities
• Experience with EKG interpretation
• Comfort working in a multi-campus health system environment with float requirements
