Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Nurse Endorsement
• Registered Nurse license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) designation
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and healthy learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and emergency response
• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with specific needs
• Serve as a health resource for students, staff, and families
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate student health records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to promote optimal student health outcomes
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise
