Position: Ultrasound Tech Vascular

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

Description

We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist specializing in vascular imaging. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience and hold the necessary certifications. The role involves working primarily with patients experiencing peripheral vascular disease.

Qualifications

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
• Required Certifications:
  
  
  • One RDMS registry (Abdomen OR OB/GYN)
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) - MUST be certified
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Additional Skills:
  
  
  • GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite
  • Aorta, Arterial Graft Studies
  • Arterial mapping, Carotid, Color Flow, Dialysis grafts
  • Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial, Lower Extremity Venous, Stents

Work Environment

The Ultrasound Technologist will work in a multidisciplinary clinic. The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics, with a daily census of 12-15 and 9 visits per day. The unit comprises one ultrasound room.

Additional Information

• Orientation: Bi-weekly
• Scrubs: Blue / Royal Blue
• On-Call: No
• Weekends: No

Compliance and Attendance Policies

Candidates must complete all necessary compliance requirements in a timely manner. Attendance is monitored, and a maximum of three absences are allowed per 13-week contract. Excessive tardiness or no call/no show incidents may result in further action.
