Cardiovascular SonographerEmployment Type: Full-time and PermanentSalary: CompetitiveJoin a prestigious academic medical center and be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality cardiac ultrasounds to diverse inpatient and outpatient populations. Enjoy competitive salary, benefits, and state retirement options.Responsibilities:Perform cardiac ultrasound evaluationsCommunicate acute findings to Cardiologist and route studies for interpretationObtain pertinent patient health history before examinationPrepare procedure room and equipment for daily useEnsure timely and efficient room preparation between proceduresTroubleshoot and report any equipment problemsMay provide staff training and educationEducation Requirements:Associate’s degree in Sonography, Radiology, or related field within 3 months of hire, OR completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire.Licensure/Certification Requirements:Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.Must maintain registry status and meet continuing education requirements annually.Professional Experience Requirements:Minimum one year experience in an acute hospital setting.APPLY NOW!
