Opportunity:

RN - Skilled Nursing

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts with block schedule of 8s
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available for at least half of holidays during assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Floating requirements apply
• Scrub color/dress code: Any solid color, clean and professional
• Patient ratio: RNs 1:20, LPNs 1:20, CNAs 1:8
• Work with a 70-bed facility, majority private rooms
• Common diagnoses include dementia, frail and elderly patients, and rehabilitation
• Job duties include charting, assessments, charge duties, medication administration, and clinical skills such as IVs, catheters, and ostomy care
• Experience working with elderly patients required
• IV and titratable drip experience required
• EMR system: ECS
• Interdisciplinary team includes therapy, administration, social workers, activities, dietary, and housekeeping
• Physician availability after hours
• RT on-site 24/7
• Pharmacy on-site with medication dispensing system
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)

This post-acute care facility is a nursing home attached to a hospital, offering long-term care services in a supportive and collaborative environment. The facility features 70 beds, the majority of which are private, and is equipped with a full interdisciplinary team including therapy, social workers, dietary, and housekeeping staff. With physician availability after hours, on-site respiratory therapy, and an on-site pharmacy, the facility is well-resourced to provide comprehensive care to its residents.
