We are hiring for Medical Assistant positions in the Primary Care Department at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, AK!

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week

• Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week as needed

Provides medical assistance to physicians and education to patients. Works cooperatively with clinic office personnel, patients and medical staff. Coordinates ancillary services and scheduling of clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
• 1 year experience in a physician’s office or clinic.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
