Apprentice Plumber

Apprentice PlumberWe are seeking to hire six apprentice plumbers to join a rapidly growing team expanding their footprint in the Treasure Valley. Candidates should have experience in both commercial and residential plumbing, with a focus on new construction rather than service-oriented work. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience and hold a plumbing apprentice card.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the installation of plumbing systems for new construction projects, including large commercial/industrial buildings and new-build track homes.System Installation: Support the installation of water supply, drainage networks (DWV), and gas piping using materials such as PVC, PEX, CPVC, and copper.Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret construction blueprints and piping schematics to efficiently route plumbing systems.Job Site Prep & Maintenance: Transport materials, measure and cut pipes, dig trenches, and maintain a clean and organized job site.Testing & Inspection: Collaborate with journeymen to test installed plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with local plumbing codes.Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Essential SkillsExperience in commercial and residential plumbing.Knowledge of new construction plumbing practices.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Understanding of installation and pipefitting techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsPossession of a plumbing apprentice card.1-3 years of relevant plumbing experience.Why Work Here?This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organization with a proven track record of expansion. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4:30pm, with flexibility based on project requirements. Some weeks may require working 50-55 hours.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, ID.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
