Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager

We’re looking for a knowledgeable and relationship-focused Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join our Lansdale team. In this role, you’ll serve as a key partner to clients and carriers, providing proactive support, thoughtful coverage guidance, and a service experience that reflects Univest’s commitment to care, integrity, and community. Responsibilities Utilize agency management system and carrier websites to process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellationsWorking knowledge of Word and ExcelProvide front line service for book of business assigned to you by anticipating and responding to customer needs in a timely and professional manner.Follow established agency policies and standard operating proceduresAnalyze policy coverage, rates as required, and make changes as appropriateCoordinate the marketing and placing of coverage with direction from Account ExecutiveCommunicate, meet, and interact with company personnel as appropriateResponsible for maintaining company underwriting, rating, marketing, bulletins, forms, and correspondence for company(ies) assigned and distributing information within the agency as necessaryMaintain and nurture good customer and company relationsCommunicate and interact with client by phone, in person, or in writingPrepare proposals, finance agreements as requiredResponsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of ConductPerform additional duties as required Qualifications Current PA State Property and Casualty insurance producer license and minimum of 5 years previous agency or company experienceThorough knowledge of basic lines of insurance coverage and productsFamiliarity with the Commercial Lines Manual and specific coverage formsUnderstand rate making and proven ability to operate company specific rating softwareProfessional appearance, strong interpersonal and communication skills, positive and professional attitudeWage Range: The salary for this position ranges from $65,000+ Benefits Overview:Univest offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Health Insurance: Medical, dental and vision coverage (single or family; begins the first of the month following start date)Retirement Plan: Participation in 401(k) plan with up to a 3% employer match after 6 months of employmentPaid Time Off (PTO): 15 days annuallyShort Term Disability: 12 weeks of sick time with a doctors note Holiday Time Off: 11 paid holidaysWe offer company paid life insurance: as well as other supplemental insurancesTuition reimbursement Employee Wellness programs: including fitness club discounts and fitness tracker discounts/ annual reimbursementDiscounts: on loan productsProfessional development trainingsClick here for Benefit Information#Univest#LI-HybridAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
