AWS/CES is looking for a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

$36.00 per Hour
2nd Shift | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (plus shift handoff time)

• Coordinate and supervise daily employee activities to ensure production goals are met.
• Support and maintain all aspects of the quality management system.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process.
• Assist with employee relations, problem resolution, and performance management.
• Maintain customer quality standards and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Monitor employee attendance and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Enforce company policies and maintain departmental discipline.
• Maintain daily production reports, timekeeping records, and operational documentation.
• Assist with process improvements and productivity enhancement projects.
• Lead projects focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field OR a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machine setup and production processes.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training, education, or customer/supplier meetings.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with Kaizen and Kanban methodologies.
• Proven project leadership experience.
• Continuous Improvement experience.
• Strong desire for career growth into management positions.
