Rework Operator

Touch Up Rework Operator Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing supporting medical devices and defense applications, is seeking a dedicated Touch Up Rework Operator to join their team. As a Touch Up Rework Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Milpitas, CA Pay Range: $27 What's the Job? Perform hand soldering and touch-up rework for SMT and through-hole components, including jumper wires, following IPC-A-610 standards. Execute rework based on Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Process Deviations, and MPI instructions using appropriate solder and flux types (Leaded/Lead-Free, clean or no-clean processes). Install and hand solder all second operation and SMT parts as required per MPI and deviation procedures. Adapt to working on various SMT and T/H components as needed to meet production goals. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to ESD, board handling, and safety practices. What's Needed? 1-2 years of practical manufacturing experience with soldering irons. Experience performing touch-up and rework on SMT components. Experience performing touch-up and rework on thru-hole components. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, BOMs, MPI, and component values. Experience working with medical devices or defense products is preferred. What's in it for me?
