Front End Supervisor Job Title: Front End Supervisor Position Type: Full-Time Job Hours: Varies based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Salary: $20/hour; based on experience. One of the nation's largest kosher supermarket chains is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Front End Supervisor to oversee daily front-end operations. This role is responsible for supervising cashiers, baggers, and customer service staff while ensuring exceptional customer service, accurate cash handling, efficient operations, and a positive shopping experience for all customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and support front-end team members, including cashiers, baggers, and customer service representatives. Create, manage, and adjust employee schedules as needed. Train, coach, evaluate, and develop front-end staff. Ensure outstanding customer service and promptly address customer concerns. Monitor cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in transactions. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth daily operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-end environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members. Support management in achieving departmental goals and maintaining productivity. Specific Qualifications and Requirements Previous kosher supermarket experience required. Prior supervisory or management experience, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure. Excellent time management and delegation abilities. Experience creating and improving operational systems and procedures.
