Field Service Technician

Job Description As a Field Service Technician at Pitney Bowes, you will provide service to a variety of clients and support field service for all our shipping and mailing technology, from Inserters to Lockers. A successful Technician is client-centric, has strong customer service skills, and is comfortable managing significant windshield time. Responsibilities Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment for clients. Support both hardware and software solutions. Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce client callbacks. Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at the time of installation. Operate 100% in client-facing capacity as a representative of Pitney Bowes. Cover a multi-zip code territory requiring significant windshield time. Use hand tools or small power tools to execute repairs, maintenance, and installations. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Qualifications Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 55 lbs or more with or without accommodation. Ability to travel within a multi-zip code territory with up to 80% windshield time. Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods of time. Complete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC and networking (preferred). Experience with automated equipment (preferred). Comfortable with mechanical or electrical component repair. Work Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm in alignment with traditional office hours (overtime may be required). Location: Field-based role requiring proximity to Modesto, CA. Travel beyond a 3-hour radius may be required.
