2nd Shift Welder

Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder, $20-28/hour starting pay

We are seeking skilled welders to join our team for large-scale projects involving structural steel. This position is part of a newly established 2nd shift, created due to business expansion, offering an excellent opportunity to grow with us. 2nd shift schedule include 4 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am. Open to entry level welders with recent schooling in welding, as well as more experience, tenured welders.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel, up to 2 inches.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure precise welding.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete different projects.

• Maintain a high standard of work ethic and a positive attitude.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques.

• Strong understanding of working with structural steel.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with structural steel, ideally up to 2 inches.

• Ability to work well in a team setting.

Work Environment

Our facility is exceptionally clean and safe, equipped with a variety of machinery including presses and CNC mills. While the welding area can get warm due to proximity to the warehouse doors, the overall environment is pleasant. The 2nd shift operates on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
