Job Location: Portland, ME 04102

Duration: 6 Months+ contract (possibility of extension)

Schedule Details: 48 hours preferred. Call once per month.

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.

Weekend Hours: 36/48 preferred (unless otherwise noted).

Call Requirements: Yes, 2 hours for the oncoming shift.

Role: RRT Respiratory Therapist

Specialty: Respiratory Therapy

Years of Experience: 3+

Float Requirements: As RRT, some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and ED required, as well as adult acute and critical care.

Required Certifications:

• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• NRP for NICU.
• RRT required.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: Varied depending on daily assignments, cover entire facility with a team of 14–16 RRT.
• Patient Ratios: Acute 1:25, Critical 1:8.

Equipment:

• Drager V500 and VN500.
• Hamilton T1 and C1.
• Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line.
• Airvo, Vapotherm.

EMR: EPIC

Must Have Skills/Experience:

• Tertiary, teaching hospital experience.
• Level 1 trauma.

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

• NICU/PICU.
• Cardiothoracic.

Type of Patients on Unit: Varied.

Personality Fit:

• Great communication skills.
