As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation, while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or hazards according to site protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by assisting with alarms, access issues, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced business environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
