What You'll Do Attend training regarding applicable equipment Perform additional duties as needed Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Attend required training on all relevant equipment and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture Crosstrain on multiple machines Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, etc. Set‑up, operate, monitor and adjust shop equipment to ensure a conforming product—including furnaces, straighteners, saws and shot blast What You'll Need Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions, including heat and cold weather Able and willing to cross‑train as required Ability to work in a safety‑conscious industrial environment including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations Team‑player in a fast‑paced environment with strong work ethic, attention to detail, and root‑cause analysis skills Operate fabrication machines safely without supervision Lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, and work outside when needed Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum 1 year of heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required Stand for long periods, stretch, bend and use hands/fingers in repetitive motions Possess a strong work ethic and punctuality Your Education High School Diploma or GED #J-18808-Ljbffr
