This role is perfect for someone who loves the thrill of the hunt, thrives on high activity, and wants to build a career in freight sales./ppAs a Business Development Representative (BDR), youll prospect shippers, qualify leads, book meetings, and help drive freight opportunities into our pipeline. Youll act as a key connector between marketing and sales, setting the stage for our Account Executives to close new business./ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliProspect 80120 shippers daily via phone, email, and LinkedIn./liliContact and qualify new leads, engaging accounts and prepping them for Account Executives./liliSet up intro calls or book freight opportunities directly into our pipeline./liliManage and organize your pipeline within the CRM, moving leads fast through the funnel./liliBuild strong relationships with logistics managers, shipping coordinators, and supply chain leaders./liliSupport marketing and sales initiatives by creating brand awareness and requesting referrals./liliProvide excellent customer support by answering calls/emails and suggesting future solutions./li/ulh3What Were Looking For/h3ulli1+ year of inside sales or BDR experience (freight brokerage/logistics experience a huge plus!)./liliHunter mentality loves the chase, embraces high-volume outbound activity./liliQuick learner who can pick up Zuums services and pitch confidently within days./liliComfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment./liliHands-on experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)./liliFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite tools./liliOrganized, detail-oriented, and driven to win./li/ulh3Education and Skills Requirements/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred./liliProficiency with CRM systems and outreach platforms./liliUnderstanding of sales performance metrics and high-velocity pipelines./li/ulh3Bonus Points/h3ulliExperience working with SMB and mid-market shippers./liliKnowledge of industries like building materials, food beverage, and manufacturing./liliFamiliarity with load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and freight CRM/TMS tools./li/ulh3What We Offer/h3ulliBase salary plus a strong incentive plan and competitive benefits package./liliReal opportunities for fast promotion into Account Executive or Carrier Sales roles./liliA winning, energetic, and supportive team culture./liliA chance to grow alongside one of the fastest-moving companies in freight tech./li/ul/div
