Lead Software EngineerAs Technical "Tech" Lead Engineer, provides technical skills combined with strong leadership skills to articulate architectural direction and solutions to both product stakeholders and the development team. A full stack engineer with team leadership skills, deep proficiency in general programming languages, frameworks and deployment methodologies who creates API-based applications from concept to finished product with a cloud-first emphasis. Builds and encourages a collaborative environment while promoting architectural standards of the organization.Leads a team of developers; oversees development team quality of work, timelines, and project risks without supervisionDesigns, develops, tests, deploys and supports API-based systems focusing on industry best practices with a cloud-first emphasis.May supervise or manage four or fewer employees, and responsible for team's performance; coaches and mentors team membersSeeks continuous quality improvements for supported productsPerforms other duties as assigned.Bachelor's degree of Computer Science or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree and/or LOMA certificationExperience:8+ years of software development experienceProficiency in multiple tools of the full stack covering frontend frameworks, databases and deploymentsProficiency in a variety of general programming languagesProficiency in Test-Driven DevelopmentExperience with a variety of database technologiesProficiency in containerizationDemonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologiesDemonstrated ability to lead small teams or projectsAdvanced ability to solve complex problems, drawing upon creativity, experience, and multiple sources of informationAdvanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex or difficult informationInvestment Knowledge - Institutional Investing / Asset ManagementExperience with AWS, GCP or other cloud providerTechnical Requirements (can be modified specific to team/role)• JavaScript/Java/Groovy/Go/C#/.
