We're now looking for a Field Sales - Retail. This position is a full-time , remote/contract position.

Job Description:

1. Retail Store Operations & Brand Presence Management

- Manage daily retail store operations within the assigned territory, including store visits, merchandising, material updates, and execution follow-up.

- Conduct regular store audits to identify and resolve issues related to display gaps, damaged materials, and insufficient product presentation.

- Collect new display requirements and coordinate with Account Managers and retail partners to ensure compliance with channel guidelines.

- Consolidate store execution updates and maintain weekly communication with Account Managers to ensure alignment on key information, including store delivery status and operational progress.

2. Order Management & Inventory Coordination

- Track retail customer orders, including order placement, delivery progress, product arrival, and issue resolution, ensuring smooth product flow into stores.

- Regularly consolidate regional order and inventory status, and work closely with Account Managers to align on store orders, supply availability, and inventory conditions to support sales forecasting and channel strategy optimization.

3. Retail Staff Training & Sales Enablement

- Provide retail staff training on brand introduction, product knowledge, key selling points, competitive comparison, sales skills, and customer engagement.

- Conduct regular training sessions and knowledge updates based on new product launches, sales feedback, and market changes to improve store staff product understanding and sales conversion capabilities.

4. Retail Relationship Management & Customer Collaboration

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, including store associates, store managers, and regional retail teams, to establish long-term partnerships.

- Support coordination of retail partner resources to enhance brand visibility, product exposure, and sales performance at the store level.

5. Retail Marketing Event Execution & Support - Support the execution of regional retail marketing activities, including roadshows, pop-up events, and other in-store activation programs.

- Collect consumer feedback and market insights to support optimization of future marketing campaigns and retail strategies.

6. Sales Data Tracking, Market Intelligence & Sales Performance Improvement

- Track regional store sales performance, including sales, inventory, replenishment, and product sell-through, and provide regular updates to Account Managers.

- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and provide insights for channel optimization.

- Continuously collect regional market intelligence, including competitor pricing changes, promotional activities, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities or risks.

Qualification:

1. Channel Sales Experience & Retail Channel Understanding

- 3+ years of experience in retail sales, Field Sales, Retail Operations, Merchandising, or related roles.

- Strong understanding of the U.S. retail market, including regional markets, customers, and channel coverage.

- Experience working with major U.S. retail channels is highly preferred, including but not limited to Home Depot, Lowe’s, Costco, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, and similar retailers.

- Understanding of the relationship between merchandising, inventory, promotions, staff training, and sales conversion.

2. Sales Target Management & Store-Level Business Development Capability

- Ability to manage regional sales targets and break them down into actionable plans based on store performance and historical data.

- Strong process management skills with the ability to establish store visit routines, sales tracking mechanisms, and problem-solving processes.

- Ability to identify performance gaps based on sales results and develop targeted improvement plans based on different business scenarios.

3. Regional Ownership & Independent Management Capability

- Ability to independently develop store visit plans and prioritize key accounts within the assigned territory.

- Take ownership of regional sales performance, execution quality, and issue resolution.

- Demonstrate strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and the capability to proactively drive solutions when facing sales challenges or execution issues.
