Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across diverse demographics, administering standardized tests and observational methodologies.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to address both immediate and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing dynamics.
• Collaborate meaningfully with a variety of health professionals including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, and families to foster integrated care solutions.
• Educate patients and families to facilitate growth and progress outside the therapy room.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment plans, ensuring seamless care during the entire therapeutic process.
• Maintain timely, detailed documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility requirements.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through continuing education and collaborative peer engagement.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA-certified not yet achieved.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within a month of hire.
