Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Huntsville, AL - OnsiteYour Responsibilities:Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reportingSupports sales through involvement in job quotation and estimationApprove estimates for scope of work, labor hours and material content, assess profit risk of jobs, control material and labor costs, and provide feedback to the District ManagerEstablish project timelines and meet with customers to communicate and coordinate project schedule.Manage projects, assign personnel, oversee ordering of equipment and material, and assure that proper customer signoffs are secured per corporate policy requirementsOversee quotation of call-in work, transactional sales (not requiring SSR skills), and assign personnel as needed to ensure that quotes are delivered to customers on a timely basisProvide consistent interface with current customer base and establishes effective working relationships in order to identify additional selling opportunitiesEnsure that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled and inspections completed on time while providing input to Service Coordinators on scheduling activity of techniciansSupport the district under direction of District ManagerWork with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work on existing house accountsManage Tech Tip program and lead customer care initiativesWork with Account Managers and District Manager in order to resolve customer issues, including customer visitsProvide weekly job status, revenue, and warranty recovery report to DMYour Qualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience6+ years of related work experience in the commercial HVAC industry or related field8+ years of strategic leadership of an industrial HVAC business unit (Preferred)4+ years of prior experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role requiredExtensive knowledge of HVAC design, systems, applications, and energy saving solutionsDemonstrated success in strategically leading business unitsYour Benefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Non-logoed company vehicle with most expenses paidMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceThis position may be filled at different levels depending on the candidate's education, experience, and demonstrated competencies.The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 to $153,300 plus a targeted incentive plan in Alabama. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
