Position Details:
Title: Facilities Support Coordinator
Position Type: Part-time, 25 hours per week. Temp-Perm contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location : Chicago, IL
Shift: 1st shift

Compensation : $23-$25/HR

Responsibilities:
• Ability to coordinate service requests, preventive maintenance, repairs, supplies, workspace needs, and vendor activities while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong customer-service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with employees, leaders, contractors, and property management.
• Sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, escalate risks appropriately, and follow through to resolution.
• Working knowledge of office safety, security, emergency procedures, and applicable workplace policies and practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn work-order, purchasing, and other facilities-related systems.
• Attention to detail when maintaining records, processing invoices or purchase requests, tracking work, and supporting budget and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changing priorities, protect confidential information, and provide dependable onsite support.
• Ability to perform the essential physical and scheduling requirements of the role, which may include walking through office areas, bending, stooping, pushing, lifting up to 50 lbs., sitting for long periods, typing, and responding to urgent needs. May perform tasks that are custodial in nature, including those related to office and break room/kitchen maintenance.

Qualifications:
The Facilities Support position requires a service-oriented professional who can coordinate day-to-day workplace operations in a busy office, respond effectively to employee and business needs, and maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming office environment. The ideal candidate combines strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills with practical experience supporting facilities, vendors, office services, and administrative processes. Prior experience in facilities, office services, property operations, hospitality, administration, or a comparable customer-support environment. This is an onsite position, 25 hours per week.
