Title: Concierge Location: Roosevelt Island Org Unit: Housing-Roosevelt Island Work Days: Friday - Tuesday - Overnight Shift Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $24.84 - $27.91 *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary Under direct supervision, is responsible for maintaining the safety and satisfaction of residents and guests within his/her assigned building Job Responsibilities Monitors access to the property and checks for valid identification. Greets all residents and guests upon entry. Announces and registers guests. Monitors the arrival and departure of vendors or contractors. Ensures that the Concierge Desk is secured at all times. Receives, sorts and distributes mail; accepts and signs for package deliveries. Ensures safety of residents. Responds to emergency situations and regulates unauthorized activity. Escalates issues as needed. Troubleshoots and resolves resident complaints. Coordinates move‑in and move‑out activities. Maintains a log of shift activity. Escalates any issues or concerns. Provides supervision of the porter staff when directed. Education May vary Experience Previous related experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Prior door person or front desk experience is preferred.
