Manager, Facilities

Catalent

Catalent seeks a Manager, Facilities to lead maintenance and utility systems at its flagship Winchester, Kentucky manufacturing site. The role involves overseeing preventative maintenance programs, managing utility reliability, driving sustainability initiatives, and leading a team supporting 24/7 pharmaceutical tablet and capsule production.

Responsibilities

Provide facility support for continuous 24/7 manufacturing operations and minimize production downtime
Define and manage utility systems reliability programs to maximize availability cost-effectively
Develop, maintain, and improve maintenance standard operating procedures for compliance and audits
Lead, evaluate, and provide coaching to facilities team members; manage training compliance
Implement cost-saving initiatives and sustainability actions across energy, water, and waste systems

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of utility design and troubleshooting experience
2+ years managing and developing technical teams
Experience with central utilities (WFI, purified water, compressed air, steam, etc.)
Project budgeting and external vendor management experience
Background in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with process controls and equipment engineering
