Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care within a value-based care model
• Serve as core faculty for the Health Equity and Value-Based Care program
• Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents, emphasizing health equity and community-centered medicine
• Educate residents on social determinants of health and community engagement strategies
• Utilize population health tools, risk stratification, and care coordination to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, and community partners
• Participate in academic activities such as journal clubs, lectures, case conferences, and scholarly projects
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to curriculum development, aligning with GME standards
• Demonstrate advanced leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in clinical and educational settings

What You Need

• Required: Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, active Texas medical license
• Preferred: Experience in health equity, value-based care, or outpatient clinical practice; strong leadership and mentorship skills
• Key Skills: Evidence-based clinical practice, population health management, team collaboration, commitment to health equity
