Physical Therapist (PT)

Edison, NJ | $90K–$100K/year + Full Benefits

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM

Looking for a Physical Therapist job in Edison, NJ with a consistent weekday schedule? We are recruiting an experienced PT to join an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy office serving patients with a range of injuries, post-surgical needs, mobility limitations, and musculoskeletal conditions.

This is a hands-on clinical role where you will assess each patient's current function, identify treatment priorities, and guide them through a structured rehabilitation plan. You'll typically see 1–2 patients per hour , allowing time for focused treatment and progress monitoring.

What You'll Do

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
• Identify mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and movement limitations
• Establish measurable short- and long-term rehabilitation goals
• Create and carry out individualized outpatient treatment programs
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Reassess progress and update treatment approaches as clinically appropriate
• Provide patients with clear home exercise and self-management instructions
• Maintain complete patient records and treatment documentation

Requirements

• Active NJ Physical Therapist license
• DPT or MSPT degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Outpatient PT experience
• Experience working with orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation cases
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills
