The role is onsite, allowing for hands-on interaction with patients and the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and recovery progress.Utilize a diverse range of treatment methods, including therapeutic exercises, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and the use of advanced rehabilitation equipment.Monitor and document patient progress throughout their treatment regimens, adjusting plans as necessary based on patient response and ongoing assessment.Engage patients and their families in the treatment process, providing education on various physical therapy modalities, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation strategies.Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy practices by attending workshops, pursuing continuing education opportunities, and engaging in professional networks.Patient Population / Client FocusThe patients we serve in our Metuchen clinic include individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic conditions, and neurological impairments. You will work with both pediatric and adult populations, allowing you to apply a wide range of therapeutic techniques and strategies. Understanding the unique needs of each demographic enhances your ability to deliver effective care and foster patient independence.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, while a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.A valid Physical Therapy license in New Jersey is mandatory.Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.Proficiency in using electronic health record systems to track patient progress and treatment plans.Demonstrated adaptability and a commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.Preferred ExperienceAt least two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, bringing insights and practical application to the role.Experience with diverse patient populations and conditions will enhance your ability to deliver effective treatment.Previous involvement in outpatient physical therapy settings will help in understanding patient dynamics and clinic operations.Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being of our employees.
