Payroll Specialist

To provide provision of financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, bookkeeping records, sales data, payroll and more. Salary Range: 40,000 - 50,000 Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM Leave Benefits : 5 Sick Leaves + 10 Vacation Leaves Allowances : Rice, Clothing/Uniform, Medical, and Meal Allowance Healthcare : HMO with 1 free dependent Parental Support : Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave Government Contributions : SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG Responsibilities Collect daily, weekly, and monthly employee timesheets Calculate employee work hours, benefits, and deductions Prepare employee compensation using payroll software Ensure taxes comply with company and state regulations Prepare payroll reports & distribute payment statements Respond to employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits, and deductions Coordinate appointments for employees, customers or patients Plan weekly employee schedules, determining appointment lengths and making phone calls to patients or customers regarding their appointment or meeting times Requirements Bachelors degree in accounting, Human Resources, or similar field 5+ years of experience managing payroll for multi-state US companies including knowledge of nexus rules and varying state-specific labor laws (e.g., California, New York) Experience with payroll system migrations or software implementations Previous experience working as a payroll officer Excellent mathematical skills and strong attention to detail MYOB, QuickBooks, Sage, and/or Xero knowledge is an advantage Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suites and current virtual tools Familiarity with accounting principles, procedures, and best practices Who we are Guerilla Staffing Solutions is a family-owned business with roots in both Australia and the Philippines.
