VP of Accounting

Alliance Resource Group is partnering with a top-tier VC-backed, high-growth advanced defense manufacturing company on a newly active VP of Accounting search. This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of scale, with significant operational complexity, strong investor backing, and a leadership team building the finance infrastructure for the company’s next phase of growth. The VP of Accounting will own and scale the accounting function, build and develop a high-performing team, and bring structure, rigor, and public-company-caliber discipline to a fast-moving manufacturing environment. This leader will partner closely with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Supply Chain, and executive leadership to support growth, improve controls, and drive operational and financial visibility. Key areas of focus include Building and leading a scalable accounting organization Strengthening month-end close, reporting, controls, and audit readiness Supporting a complex manufacturing environment, including inventory, cost accounting, and operational accounting Partnering on treasury, cash management, working capital, and financial controls Improving systems, processes, and accounting infrastructure as the company scales Establishing the rigor needed for future public-company readiness The ideal candidate has led accounting in a high-growth, operationally complex environment and brings a combination of technical depth, team leadership, business partnership, and the ability to build scalable processes in a fast-paced company.
