ICU Registered Nurse - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position. Shifts are 12 hours, from 0600-1830 / 1800-0630, with a commitment to weekends and some floating between units.

The ICU Registered Nurse plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexible scheduling and a strong teamwork ethic, as RN will float to PCU and Med Surg as needed. The role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to manage diverse patient conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU unit with a focus on cardiac and neuro cases.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient care planning and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in ICU nursing, including cardiac care.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, CRRT, and post-op CABG care (Day 2/Day 3).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Active and in good standing compact or NE nursing license.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
