Description We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients in Kansas City. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders, ensuring high-quality care and patient satisfaction. You will be involved in a variety of gastroenterology projects, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare staffing solutions. Responsibilities Conduct consultations, evaluations, and examinations of patients with gastrointestinal issues. Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies. Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient diagnoses. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in gastroenterology. Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options. Adhere to all relevant medical standards, regulations, and ethical practices. Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Gastroenterology. Valid state medical license to practice in Kansas City. Proven experience working as a Gastroenterology specialist. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
