RN Observation Unit FT Nights

Position Overview Registered Nurse – Observation Unit (Emergency Department) – Full‑time, nights (7pm–7am) with 36 hours weekly. 4th‑weekend rotation schedule. Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge. Serve as on‑shift team member delivering direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co‑workers. Observe patients expected to remain in hospital for less than 24hours; manage conditions such as chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, heart catheterizations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, UTIs, and DVTs. Collaborate with a provider staffed daily from 7am to 5pm for support and high‑level care. Qualifications Current Indiana or compact state RN license. Valid BLS provider certification. Valid ACLS for healthcare provider certification obtained within 12months of hire. New graduate RNs welcome. Benefits Eligible for benefits and a sign‑on bonus (experienced external applicants only).
