A healthcare facility in Sedona, AZ is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to fill a night shift role on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for experienced pharmacy professionals ready to take on a critical position providing overnight pharmacy support, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal requirements and facility protocols
- Verify prescriptions and dosages, ensuring patient safety
- Consult with healthcare providers and patients regarding medication therapy
- Maintain proper documentation and inventory management
- Provide expertise during overnight shift to support hospital or clinic pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with active state license
- Previous experience in pharmacy settings, preferably hospital or clinical
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, drug interactions, and best practices
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Flexibility to provide coverage on a contract basis while a permanent candidate is secured
