Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering occupational therapy services to a vibrant K–8 educational setting near La Mesa, NM. This teletherapy-focused role centers on supporting approximately 30 students, most of whom are in elementary grades, all within a single welcoming school building. With a manageable caseload and just 10 hours per week, you’ll create meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility.

Essential Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Teletherapy experience with K–8 students is highly preferred
• School-based occupational therapy background
• Strong communication, collaboration, and case management skills
• Ability to tailor evaluations and interventions for diverse student needs
• Experience documenting service minutes and progress, particularly in a virtual format
• Comfort coordinating monthly consultation services, along with providing direct weekly support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services for a caseload of 30 students, focusing on both monthly consultations and consistent weekly interventions as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement personalized therapy plans
• Carry out approximately 600 service minutes per week, with an emphasis on engagement and targeted support
• Complete virtual assessments, progress monitoring, and support IEP goal attainment
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of all interactions, evaluations, and outcomes
• Adapt teletherapy tools and resources to maximize student participation and growth
