Registered Nurse IR/Cath Lab (36 Hours, Rotate Days, Evenings, Nights)

POSITION SUMMARY As an RN in the cath/IR labs, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Location & Schedule Location: Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab Schedule: 36 Hours, Rotate Days/Evenings/Nights ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES Deliver nursing care in the perioperative services unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients. Communicate with various health‑care team members, patients, and their families. Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to inter‑professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records. Enter and interpret computerized data/information. Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization. Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Certification in basic life support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) required in certain units. 1+ years of RN experience preferred. Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas. ICU experience required. Moderate sedation experience required. Cath Lab and/or IR experience strongly preferred. Procedural experience strongly preferred. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical ability to meet job responsibilities. Basic computer proficiency. Fluency in another language a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Compensation Range: $38.05–$75.33 per hour. Base pay is determined by considering education, experience, licensure/certifications, and other factors directly related to the position.
